A part of the elementary guidance program involves regular "Bucket Filling" lessons in all grades K-5. Districtwide Bucket Filling in the elementary schools is the concept that everyone walks around with an invisible bucket. The bucket represents a person's mental and emotional health. People who fill buckets provide care, kindness, attention, safety, etc. to others. In addition, the students learn that by filling others' buckets, we fill our own bucket too. This year, we are collecting names of our "Bucket Fillers of the Month" and pictures of the students will appear on the television near the main entrance.
